TIP Wörthersee Hiking Loop

Set out on the 55 km-long lake hike around lake Wörthersee accompanied by no other than a creature of legend, the so-called “Wörthersee Mandl. The trail runs through hilly terrain, mostly through forests, but you will always find incredible scenic spots offering stunning views of lake Wörthersee and the Karawanken Mountains. Many parts of the hiking trail cover nature reserves.  The trail is divided into four sections, each dedicated to one of the four natural elements – FIRE, EARTH, WATER, AIR and symbolically marked with the color of the particular element. Along the hiking trail sun shades, swings and wooden loungers invite to linger and simply enjoy.
